    Ellis Earl Hughes, Jr. (Old Blue), age 70, of Hot Springs, formerly of Malvern went to be with his Savior on January 12, 2014. He was born July 6, 1943 to Ellis and Mary Elma McGill Hughes. He was a Vietnam Veteran, a proud Seabee and of the Baptist Faith. He was a former employee of Pirelli Cable and the Founder and Owner of the Ellis Hughes Shooting Range in Malvern. Before his health deteriorated he loved to Coon Hunt and fish. He loved to sport shoot and was an avid supporter for Second Amendment Rights.
    Left to cherish his memories are his children, Ellis and Gina Hughes of Bismarck, Sherry and Paul Hughes of Malvern. His grandchildren, P.J. and Brandi Hughes, Ellis and Cynthia Hughes, Andrew and Gina Hughes, Kaye Hughes and her boyfriend Darryle Carter. Great grandchildren, Ryan, Hunter, McKenzie, Liliana, Madilynn Hughes and Annalee Labarber. His sisters, Bonnie Nash and Purity George and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
    He was predeceased by his parents and two wives, Linda Wilson Hughes and Polly Ann Puryear Hughes. His siblings, Willie, Elbert, Jerry Hughes, and sister, Parthenia Marney.
    He requested his body to be cremated and a private family memorial held at a later date. Memorials can be made to Arkansas Hospice, 628 Malvern Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71901.
    The family wishes to thank Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church, all their family and friends for their prayers and support throughout his illness. A special thanks and appreciation to the staff of Arkansas Hospice for their loving care and encouragement.
